Why a Honda Civic is its own conversation
Honda Sensing is standard on current Civics. The forward-facing camera sits high-center on the windshield and needs a proper calibration on every replacement. Many Civics also have an acoustic interlayer - that quiet ride is partly the glass, and aftermarket non-acoustic glass will undo it.

When the windshield camera sits behind the glass (which it does on most modern Honda Civic trims), a replacement triggers a mandatory recalibration - the camera has to learn its new position relative to the road, or the lane-keep and pre-collision systems will read the world wrong. We handle the calibration as part of the job, never a separate appointment somewhere else.
