Why a Toyota RAV4 is its own conversation
Toyota Safety Sense is standard on all current RAV4 trims, so the windshield camera + radar are present on basically every RAV4 we replace. Higher Limited / XSE trims add a heated wiper-park area and acoustic glass. We confirm exactly what your trim has before we order glass so the spec matches the original.

The combination of raked windshield plus stop-and-go suburban traffic where you tend to follow grille-trucks too close means we also see a lot of low-center hits. When the windshield camera sits behind the glass (which it does on most modern Toyota RAV4 trims), a replacement triggers a mandatory recalibration - the camera has to learn its new position relative to the road, or the lane-keep and pre-collision systems will read the world wrong. We handle the calibration as part of the job, never a separate appointment somewhere else.
